The Last Empire

BE THE STRONGEST STRATEGIST AND SURVIVE

The game is placed in the middle east, where the player can be one of four characters, a count, an arms dealer, a drug dealer, or a businessman. Each one has its own way of getting coins or attacking its adversaries. They are trying to dominate the city from the shadows, but for that they need money to bribe the cops and politicians, or assassinate their rivals. 

RULES

• Players start with 3 cards and 5 coins.
• Each player will have one action per turn, they can use the cards with effect to increase their winnings or sabotage.
• Use the attack card by paying 6 coins. Choose the opponent player to attack.
• Pay 15 coins and make an attack. No need to have the card.
• Pay 4 coins for the attack protection card. 
• Use the protection against attack for 10 coins. No need to have the card.
• Apply the sabotage card to another player paying 3 coins.
• The player is not allowed to use a profit and a cleaning card in the same turn, nor a poison and an attack card in the same turn. 
• The player is not allowed to use more than one of the same cards in a turn.
• The player is allowed to defend or heal themselves from poisoning at any moment in the game.

Cards with effects

• Comercial Expansion: Gives an extra coin per turn.
• Sabotage: Makes a player get one coin less per turn. 
• Potion: Cures the effect of poison. Can be bought from another player for 2 coins, you can also pay 4 coins to search for it in the deck.
• Poison: The player designates someone to not be able to use cards for two turns.
• Search and Seizure: Attack one of an opponent's businesses. Pays 2 coins.
• Arrest Warrant: Allows to remove the sabotage card. Pays 1 coin.
